QUICKSTART TENNIS

Fun Tennis Classes for Children ages 5-10.  Classes meet on Mondays and Thursdays at Jackson Park Tennis Courts. $5.00/wk (2 classes/wk) Mondays: Aug 30-Oct 25 starting at 4:15 pm; Thursdays Sept 2-Oct 28 starting at 5:15 pm.  All classes last less than 60 minutes. 

Classes with an emphasis on Fun and Movement with developmentally appropriate methods and equipment.  For more info or to register please call 697.4884. 

RECREATION SOCCER

 

Registraton for the Fall Soccer Season is now CLOSED.  Please check back for information on Spring 2011 Soccer Registration. 

2010 Fall Recreation Soccer Program is for boys & girls U6-U18. (Players must be 5yrs of age as of August 1, 2010 and less than 18yrs of age). This program is a development league with a "Must Play Rule".  All new players will receive NCYSA membership and a NEW uniform.  All our coaches are volunteers, please consider volunteering - training is provided.  If your child is a new player, please bring or mail a copy of birth certificate/proof of age.

Practices can start the week of August 23rd.
Games begin Sat. Sept. 11 and end Sat. Oct. 30.  
Games may be played on week nights if the schedule dictates.
During questionable weather please call - Game Cancellation Line at 698-5101.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER SEPT. 11TH!!!

More information about the HCPRD Recreation Soccer Program --
HCPRD works in affiliation with the Henderson County Soccer Association, Inc. (HCSA) and the Fletcher Parks and Recreation Department to provide players and teams with playing fields, leagues and instructional camps. HCSA also looks to provide opportunities for the education and development of parents/coaches and referees.

The HCSA Recreation Division is managed by the Henderson County Parks and Recreation Department. This division has two seasons and plays in the fall and spring. There are no try-outs and "everyone plays".
